Trainwreck performs in Austin, TX, after the NAMM show in a competition to decide who will move on to the Fortune Magazine Battle of the Corporate Bands, 2007, to be held at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland.
Trainwreck was chosen as a runner up, and will, in fact be performing on 10/6/07.

Trainwreck plays their first live gig as a band @ the Infocomm “Big Night” Battle of the Bands, and comes home with a REALLY BIG trophy

Joe Calzone presents the idea of the corporate battle of the bands to a group of Calzone Case Company employees, and the band forms and decides on the tongue in cheek name “Trainwreck”. The band has thousands of years of combined gigging experience.

The music industry is certainly no stranger to the men of TRAINWRECK; the bandmates of this seven-piece powerhouse have been designing and producing the world's highest-quality cases for demanding musicians since the 1970's.
In fact, with the exception of 17 yr. sax prodigy Danny Lipsitz (son of Calzone's patent attorney), every member of TRAINWRECK is a current employee of Calzone; collectively they have logged over 125 years of service with the company!
